Your worktop is the surface that takes all the abuse and delivers the durability. Today there are almost endless choices in worktop materials. Whether it is laminate, solid surface, granite, or quartz they all have the potential for setting off your dream bathroom.

MINSTRAL surfaces
MISTRAL worksurfaces are manufactured from a synthetic surfacing material composed of an enhanced acrylic-based resin compound and natural mineral fillers. These worktops are available in a range of colours and can be easily cut on site. Once cut the edges cannot be re-polished.
HANEX 25mm solid surface
HANEX is an MDF or particleboard substrate. The substrate is then wraped around with a 5 mm solid surface to give the look of a 25 mm solid worktop. Hanix is a a product that is super-hygienic and completely resistant to staining, cannot harbour bacteria or moulds, looks great, and is simple to clean and maintain, which is why Hanex acrylic is a popular choice.
LAMINATE
LAMINATE is a great low cost choice compared to solid worktops. It gives a great look but clients should be aware that water must be kept from getting under the substrate as problems could arise. It can also be an issue if the ends are on show as there may need to be a finishing strip cut and glued on to the surface to complete the worktop. Great care must be taken when carrying this out as it can look unsightly if not done correctly.
ALL IN ONE
More and more manufacturers are now producing solid worktops with a built in basin and mostly made from acrylic. These worktops generally come in set lengths and can be scribed and cut to fit on site.
Limitless design choices
Cut-outs for basins can be cut anywhere, with no special modules needed. Imaginative curves and shapes can be created with ease and no end-capping is required!
